Guacamole

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • ½ small red onion, finely diced
  • 1 small heirloom tomato, diced
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Sea salt (to taste)
  • Optional: 1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and finely diced

1. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a mixing bowl. 

2. Mash the avocado with a fork to make it as chunky or smooth as you’d like.

3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir together. Give it a taste test and add more of whatever you think it needs: salt, lime juice, garlic, etc.

4. Serve and enjoy!

 

 

Hydrating Avocado Face Mask

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ⅓ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

 

1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Apply mask liberally to a clean, dry face and neck.

3. Let sit for 20 minutes.

4. Wash mask off and follow-up with your typical skincare routine.

Mango Summer Salsa

Per 1 lb of shrimp (or protein of your choice):

  • 1 mango, diced
  • ⅓ cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • ½ of a small red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1-2 limes, juiced
  • Optional: diced avocado

1. Prep all ingredients as listed above (aside from the avocado, if using) and combine in a bowl. Mix well.

2. Cover and store until ready to eat. Add the avocado right before serving, if using.

Mango Body Scrub

  • ½ cup raw sugar
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ¼ cup chopped raw mango
  • Optional: 3-4 drops of orange essential oil

1. Combine sugar with coconut oil (heat if it's solid). 

2. Add ¼ cup chopped raw mango and (if using) 3-4 drops of orange essential oil. Mash everything together.

3. Add more sugar or oil until you get a thick, goopy consistency that's not too runny.

4. Apply to the desired areas of your skin, scrubbing in a circular motion. After a few moments of scrubbing, rinse off.
